On the Ka'anapali Shore
This painting was from a reference photo a coworker/friend took during his trip to Maui with his girlfriend Stephanie. I love painting this because, even though I wasn't there when the photo was taken, I know exactly where Stephanie is in this scene because I have been to Maui many times with my husband Tom. In fact, the Sheraton Maui (in the background) was the first hotel we stayed on our first trip to Maui. So the painting means a great deal to me as well as it does for Ryan and Stephanie.
